Baclayon, on the eastern shore of Bohol in the Philippines, was the first town established in the province by the Spaniards and is home to a 16th-century church alongside well-preserved heritage houses lining its roads. The town sits a short distance from Tagbilaran city, with a pier and harbor at its edge. It is also the hometown of actor Cesar Montano and physicist Caesar Saloma.
