Arani
Bolivia
Arani, a small Bolivian town in the Cochabamba Department, is known as "the Land of Bread and Wind" for its tradition of baking with multiple flour varieties — loaves sold in shops along the main streets and the highway toward Cochabamba. A yearly bread festival marks the calendar, and the town also holds a Marian sanctuary, the Virgen La Bella. Set in highland valley terrain, it sits a short drive from Cochabamba amid mountain scenery.
